I was with my dad.. Maybe if you asked I could have given you all of the info. The Mazda salesman I worked with was just a *****, very full of himself too. Very RACIST too.. Thats why he turned us down, because my dad looks middle eastern.

Since that article was from April of '03 it obviously was the pre-production model that is sent around to the magazines for intial reviews. You think maybe that they might have tuned that particular car in order to impress the media perhaps? That is definitely not your RX8.

Let it go. You will not ever be able to convince someone who has actually raced one (me) that an RX8 is faster than a G. Your torqueless wenkels just don't have it in them even if you are 400 lbs lighter. Now there are conflicting reports about the handling so you can debate that all day long.

If you were with your Dad, that does make a big difference, and I sure hope it had nothing to do with your Dad looking middle eastern. I've also run into some real ****** when car shopping. You have to understand that selling cars is not the most glamorous job in the world.

Yea I completely understand, but the way the salesman acted was just out of line. We walked in, and were left to wait in the showroom until we finally got a salesman to help us. He didn't even want to come down to see if we needed any help. This has been the case in many places I have gone, even with cops. Once we started talking to the salesman, he made it clear to us that he didn't think we were actual buyers, and he didn't want us to take up any of his time. So we left..

On the other hand, at the Infiniti dealership, they were very very kind, came out to help us as soon as we stepped on the lot, and it was just a pleasureable experience.
