Two days in a row, sighting of the same G35c.
Someone in my neighborhood is drving a Brilliant Silver (no acronyms, please) 6MT w/aero pkg. Less than half a block from where I saw this good looking G yesterday. Before yesterday, the only time I've seen a G35c on the move was when I let someone else drive my own 5AT. I'm biased I know but I really prefer my wheels over the stock 17"/18" shoes the G35c wears.
At least today I got my arm out the window to wave before they drove by.
Not a stalker folks, jest tryin' to be neighborly.

cool man, no offense but your wheels dont match your car...they are super-heavy passenger car wheels...
if you wanted the polished look, you coulda gotten the 18's chromes on the G...just $500 thats all....your wheels are ok dude but i would rather have the stock 18's than those pulled from an M45

sorry bro I'm going to have to go with rambo, I prefer the simple stock 18"s. That center piece just throws the car off. Looks like a solid heavy wheel there.
"shoes"? I can tell your from the east coast. My friend just moved out to philly and came back to cali calling rims "shoes". what was wrong with just calling them "rims"?
I get this picture of a car wearing Nikes or some lugs.

Does the car still have the same performance with those wheels? The offset doesn't look right to me. But to each his own, it's still a G which is a thing of beauty.

Re: Two days in a row, sighting of the same G35c.
The performance is better since I replaced the Goodyear RSA tires with the Michelin Pilot Sport AS tires. They "hook up" better and "hang on" tighter. And since the wheels are aluminum alloy and not chrome, I believe that they're no heavier than the stock 18" wheels. To get a lighter wheel you need to get "forged" aluminum wheels. But alas, all "forged" aluminum wheels are either chromed or just plain ugly.
The next thing on the "todo" list is double bolted spacers to fix the offset difference. (Which is only -5mm in front and -2mm in the rear. Not enough that you can tell by eye that there is a difference. And that's not including the fact that the wheels are 1/2" wider in front and equal in back to the stock 17" wheels they replaced. But I want to add about 20mm to the front and 25mm to the rear just to bring the rims closer to the edge of the wheel well but without causing any rubbing, "Droop & Bump" or camber problems.)
