Ok, this was really weird...
So... I was driving along on a regular road, normally, at about 40mph and all of a sudden it sounded like I drove over glass that shattered on my right side, but I didn't see any thing in the road before that happened, or after. At the time atleast it also felt like it. I immediately pulled over in a parking lot to see if anything happened visually, but I didn't see anything wrong at all, car is driving fine. Maybe glass broke somewhere really close just as I was driving by? Maybe I just had a crazy moment?

If there were people and other cars around im sure it was just
someone else... Nothing in our cars besides the windows should
sound like glass breaking when something goes wrong...

Not all that strange....!
Anthony, the other possibility is that you ran over a sheet of glass. Laying on the road surface it would be very difficult to see. It may have been already broken but you'd still hear that glass shattering noise.

My G'pa was a trucker for around 15 years and used to know a guy who would get in heavy traffic and play mp3's of glass shattering really loud over his PA system... guess it freaked a lot of people out!
