Re: type R and SER

i doubt a type R can beat g35 (we are talking about stock cars right?)

I have no knowledge on SER so no input there.

Re: type R and SER

the DC5 (RSX version) Integra Type R, the fastest stock ITR out, is still slower (like 14.5) a little faster than the Type S.

The Type-R will give you a run on the highway, but we'll beat em from a stop.

The Spec V's can run high 14's w/ a good driver. They're nice
cars for the money.

Re: type R and SER

I have the SER Spec-V '02. They're fast for the money I paid ($18k). The car's very torquey but lacks the high-end..........our Gs will take the SER no problem.

Re: type R and SER

The DC5 ITR is still JDM only so I imagine he's referring to the DC3 ITR. The DC3 ITR is an upper 14 second car with a decent driver and maybe mid 14s with a pro-driver. That said, I'm pretty confident that a well driven G35C can walk it no matter what the tranny is (5AT or 6MT).

The Spec V is NOT as quick as the ITR, though it packs enough torque for terrific launches and can handle well. It can surprise you off the line if you're sleeping a bit. (In my encounters, it hung pretty well with my auto 2k2 Maxima but I typically start to hard walk it once I'm @ 4.5K+ in 2nd.)

That said, both are pretty impressive rides. However, Honda needs to import the Type R and make the Type S the base model. Nissan needs to redesign Sentra as I think that body style is entering its 6th model year. (Though, I still personally prefer the 2k1 Sentra SE-R with the SR20DE motor, which has loads of mod potential.)
