Performance

Hey guys I'm looking to get a little more power out of my G... So far my only hp mod is the ztube intake kit... I also got stillen sways and tein lowering springs. What other mods can I do to gain some hp? Is there a performance chip I can get? I know I wanna upgrade exhaust too, probably hks... thanks guys

motordyne spacer is good for 12-14 whp and it's only 220 bucks

Go with Mrev2 cheap mod for around 15 hp

no need for a mrev2 on a 04...+1 on the motordyne 5/16 iso spacer

how difficult is the install for the spacer?
What is the mrev2?

I had NO experience modding before I got my 1/2" spacer (install is the same) and I was able to do it w/ a socket wrench and a youtube DIY.. Didn't even look at the instructions that came w/ the spacer.. VERY simple install..

allows more space for the air to tumble around in the plenum before going into the gasket..

The spacer does what it's named for: creates a space in between the upper plenum cover and the intake gasket. The original design of the plenum and gasket did not leave enough space in between the front two cylinders, effectively starving them of air. The spacer allows more air to enter and practically restores the full use of the two cylinders = giving you more power than stock.

Mrev2 is for 05 rev up motors i shoulda clarified that ....u got 04....sowwy

Ok thanks guys I think I'm gonna go with the 5/16 spacer, but what's the diff between ISO thermal and just the regular plenum spacer. Is it necessary for me to get the copper iso thermal plenum since it does snow where I live maybe 3 times a year... I never drive the G in the snow, but do in the cold weather...
