It would also suck if your car battery died while the car was parked or if your keyfob battery was weak and completely died while you were out at a store with it parked in the lot. This type of no-keyhole setup wouldn't work out for me too good because I winterize and store my car for the winter without the battery in it. The only way I can get into my car after the winter is to use the key to manually open the drivers side door.

and believe me... as much as we have pinch protection, the windows can really **** up your body parts until it decides to 'stop'. thats why they want you to be there holding your key like a 90's car and watch teh windows roll up.
