I was thinking of getting an OEM spoiler costing me i think 395 paint and install and lifetime warranty. I live in houston, I dont know what to do first the Looks or the Performance. ANY Ideas? I have Carbon Fiber Interior. Should i do the Clear Corners and the Spoiler First? or The Ztube and pop charger

 

I would recommend both if you have the money. I personally don't like the OEM spoiler, dont think it matches the smooth lines. I would get a lip spoiler like the Impul. If you only have $400 to work with, I would clearbra and tint. You WILL get rock chips , just a matter of time. Tinting is a must, especially if you're in Houston. You can't really do too much with $400 performance wise, the crawford plenum ($400 w/ core refund) would give u the biggest bang for your buck. Ztube($75) and a K&N drop in filter ($40) is arguably just as good as the popcharger. Aluminum pedals ($75) are good too, the brake fluid cover ($80) as well...If you go clear corners, you will probably want to change all the lights (clearance strip, high beams) to match. In the end its up to you and what you want, go faster and sound better or look better.

 

Z-tube and Pop Charger sound great-you'll enjoy it every time you stomp it! Plus you getting extra hp. I like the lines of the car without the spoiler. The Impul spoiler looks the best to me. My car came with the OEM spoiler and that's what I would've ordered anyway, because it is functional and lower the drag coefficient.

 

I like the spoiler and think looks are the way to go since the car is fast enough as it is. That being said I think clear corners first, then spoiler (if you like it, as I do), then get into the engine if you want.

where do u get oem spoiler for 395?

 

i live in Houston, i met this guy at the dealership he gave me a card of where i could find the oem spoiler for cheap. I think thats where the factory buys it from and they mark up the price on it

 

I say Z-tube first. Not so much for the HP but the sound opens up nicely, making for a great driving experience. Not really looks or performance, but ...certainly a dds to the driving exp.

Next you have to decide which you prize more. Don't forget, there's plenty of time, and more mods coming out as time passes.

For me I did audio system first, then Z-tube/popcharger, then splash guards, then front chin spoiler. Next will be aftermarket nav, and then wheels.
