Pop charger/ z-tube question

I just installed the pop charger z tube combo i recently purchased this from B2 for great price. Anyway couple of questions for those of you that did the same.

Did i really get a z-tube as this one did not have a mount to attach it to the block as pics of diy's have shown also I could not connect it directly to the actuator port without using the previous "accordian" type coupling as was on the stock setup. So i have the accordian like coupling on both ends. While every DIY pic shows the hard plastic top of j-tube connecting directly to the actuator and only the stock connector on the bottom then the po-charger..

Am i missing something? If this is correct setup how much more free airflow did i really gain.

I have the pop/charger and shield setup also and correctly.

you got the right tube. the z-tube does not have that hard plastic top part...

you really didn't gain anymore airflow just more noise

If you are right tell me what i am looking at in step 3 on this site. That is a ztube that is connected directly to accuator, WITHOUT using the accordian, spacer piece that i described AND it has a mount to connect to the block

you got any pics... to me it sounds like one of two things; 1)you got a stillen z-tube OR 2)you didn't re-use the metal ring from ur g-tube

I'm betting it's not plastic? (Polished, cf, etc...) You have an aftermarket z-tube. The ones with the mount to the plenum are either a Nissan part or Stillen's z-tube.

Dude do you honestly think I don't know what plastic is??? I am not George Bush I was smart enough to buy a g......... ROFL

Yes it is plastic, If you read my first post it says "for those of you that bought this from them (B2)..." So hoping someone that used this could chime in, but I do appreciate responses anyway

And it doesn't connect directly to plenum so i am assuming it is aftermarket. and again even if it did it would NOT reach without reusing both accordian type adapters as on previous g tube.......
