some question about noise need help asap. thx.

I got my G35 for about 3 months. I went to the california speedtrial and went on the track twice. It was really cool. When you compare the G35 to the 4WD like the evo and wrx, it's a big difference in performance. The G35 is difficult to keep up with the stock evo's and wrx's. After that day, there is a problem with my G35. When the car comes to a complete stop and right at the moment when I start moving the car I would hear a clicking sound in the rear part of the car. Can anyone tell me what or where that noise is coming from exactly?! I got the JIC suspension and custom volksracing rims. Should I take out the JIC and take the G35 to the dealer to inspect it or could this be done myself.?!
Edited by fatboygarage on 07/17/04 10:44 PM.

Sounds like you have to tighten up your rear axel.

i dont know about putting in the stock suspension, but i had some clicking noise coming from the rear of my car also. the dealer took care of it under warranty. wasnt really paying attention to what it was, and i cant seem to find my bill right now.

Your rear axles need to be tightened. I had the same problem at about the same mileage mark. I just brought it in again for it at 11K and they couldn't tighten it anymore. Instead they nicked my rims and ordered me new axles! Common problem!
