OK:

The chrome wheels are not a factory option. You have to have a shop dip the OEM wheels in chrome for you. Some dealerships are offering this to thier customers. If yours does not, then you can find places that will.

Orders for a 6MT will likely take longer than 60 days from what I am hearing. You may want to search Infiniti's dealer inventory to see if one is available. That is how I got my 5AT back in November without ordering. From what I have heard, the odering process is basically MSRP for whatever options you want. You always put down at least a $1000 deposit which should be refundable.

No one knows anything about the 2004 model yet.

Satellite Radio. If your order yours now, it should be prewired and you have to order the reciever. Your dealer may be able to help you there. Early cars where supposed to be pre-wired for it, but apparently that never happened. A while back, there was a post from someone who did the wiring and installed the reciever, and he had instructions. So it is possible.

Re: Need info before ordering

Hey Cyc welcome to the forum,
Chrome dipping doesnt cost more than $150/wheel usually $500 overall, some dealerships will get it done for you (they send it to some wheel shop) some dealerships wont do it and say that it voids warranty, so be careful with that
60 day wait sounds about right for a 6spd, that is, 60 days until they place the order, meaning add another 90 days until delivery.

If they order it beginning of May, then it will go into production in June, and then delivered by the end of July soonest or Early August most likely because you are so far on the east coast.
So you are looking at a 5 month wait in reality. I had to wait 6 months, it wasnt so bad, ok yah it sucked but i got thru it just fine haha
The wait also allowed me to save up 10 grand for a down payment.
So if you can wait 5 months, go ahead and order it, if you can only wait 2 months, then your best bet is to head over to the corporate website (www.infiniti.com) and search for dealership inventory within 150 miles of your home. I'm sure it will be well worth the trip if you find a DG 6MT/premium/aero
So just call up the dealership that has it in stock and set up an appointment.

This is what I propose that you do:
1 - Pay the $500 REFUNDABLE deposit to your dealership and order the car.
2 - Every week for the next couple months, check dealership inventory online and try to find a match.
3 - If you find a match, proceed and then once you get the car, go to your salesman and ask for the $500 back (since its refundable).

Good luck!

I got the bose system which has the satellite button, BUT you have to subscribe to XM satellite or Cirrus which costs about 12 bucks a month.

Chrome wheels are not standard.

Sat radio guts are a $400 option. Pre-wiring, as noted above, should be done regardless. ...dean
