Any Advice?
Any Advice?
I just picked up my G35 Coupe on Tuesday. It is by far the greatest car I have ever driven. I just want to know if any of you seasoned G35 owners can give this newbie any advice about taking care of her.
Re: Any Advice?
The stock Michelins on the 6MT are awesome in the warmer months anyway. They are useless when the ground is cold. In the warmer months, after a short little drive, they get pretty sticky for a radial. I have taken some fast, sharp turns without any sweat outta those tires!

Re: Any Advice?
I too like the Sport Pilots...Only complaints are that they wear out quickly, and they're expensive to replace.
For me it's a good trade-off to have better traction than longer lasting tires.

I think the biggest thing you can do for your ride and yourself is to read the owner's manual from cover to cover. It covers all maintenance items and instructions on the car's myriad of functions and features.
Clear bra on the front surfaces such as bumper, air dam, headlights, hood, even side mirrors, and the area above the windshield all are more susceptible to chipping.
At least weekly washing of the body and wheels along with a monthly coat of wax (I use Zaino) will help keep the body and wheels clean and sparkling.
Other regular daily/weekly maintenance might include things like tire pressures, fluid levels, lights etc.
Congrats on the new ride, and g/l.

In addition to everything mentioned above, don't forget about your "break-in" period. You can find helpful info using the "search" on breaking in your G under the navigation section. Congrats!
