Installed Fujitsubo exhaust and Y-pipe

I just installed my fujitsubo catbacks and y-pipe yesterday, well actually my friend at a dealership installed them for free. The installation seemed very simple and straight forward. Off with the old and on with the new.

When I first turned the car on, the sound was very quiet and smooth, sounded quieter than stock actually. Then I took it for a drive and the only word that came to mind was "butter".

So for those of you who don't want that ridiculously loud sounding exhaust, I would definitely choose this.

I'll try and get pics up ASAP.

Still waiting to install my borla headers.

Djames: Whats w.o.t.? It actually quiets down at high rpms, I notice it the most bet ween 2 and 4 thousand rpms. I recieved my fujitsubo yesterday (thursday) and ordered it last tuesday...so 9 days.

Where did you order it from?
I got mine from intensepower.com, the people there are nice as hell. It was actually the last one they had in stock. But I think you'll be really happy when you get yours on.

MrElussive: Ummm....that was just god awful.

Re: Installed Fujitsubo exhaust and Y-pipe

here's a link to my fujitsubo exhaust install 3 months back,

Fujitsubo Exhaust

i still love the sound...but it feels as if I lost some low-end torque...something you might expect with a larger diameter exhaust, but I thought i saw previous tests that show the Fujitsubo had gains throughout the RPM range.

we shall find out soon as I will be dynoing my car on august 14th

Nor Cal Dyno Day Details

Re: Installed Fujitsubo exhaust and Y-pipe

I was really looking forward to this exhaust .. I was totally set on it.. But I just read that it doesn't retain its chrome silver color? Can someone post some picks of the color that it turns?
