Slip light and vdc

Hi I have a 04' coupe and I am repairing it to pass inspection.. I have a VDC off and Slip lights ON do you know what it means? because I haven't put my air bags in yet.. but I doubt it would b the problem... the engine works just fine pulls like hell... is there a sensor that could make this problem?? the car got hit in the front ( if it can help).. .

If I understand the system, the Slip light should only come on when the VDC is triggered (meaning its on and your driving makes it apply). With the VDC off the Slip light should not come on at all.

Can you give a little more history? Like how was it working before you took the air bags out, or are they out from the car getting hit? if so, why are YOU putting them back on, lol?

check your 1) brake fluid, 2) brake pads, and 3) brake rotors.

brake pads and rotors seem to be ok and fluids too (I'll re-check tonite to be sure)... I bought the car like this because the guy that had it imported from texas ran out of money to re-do all the car.. the air bags, seat belts were already out and the dash pad was changed, bumper, a fender, rads, and lights... when I start the car they are already on and stays on along with abs, air bag (this one normal) and low pressure tire...(haven't checked the tire pressure tho).. check engine light is off.. is there a sensor that can light up the vdc and slip light ... how much this switch cost?

why would it matter for inspection if the slip light is on? It doesnt throw a code...

There are 4 sensors, on at each front wheel and 1 on each side of the diff in the rear. A dealership can plug in the Consult and tell you whats wrong in a second.

no here in quebec/ Canada I don't think we need those smog check tests... at the inspection they only check the safety issues of the car, and body... you can go pass the inpection with no engine in it or TT if you want....I spoke to an infiniti tech and he said to check the ABS sensors (because the car have'nt been runnning for a while) maybe it has built some rust on the sensors.. I'll check this today when I'll do my oil change...

My question would be why did you buy a car in this condition? The "I ran out of money to re-do my car" line sounds fishy to me as well. Dude's giving the rest of Texans a bad rap.

My advice would be to immediately take it to a trusted mechanic to check out the ENTIRE car. Who knows what else is jacked up on it.
