so while i was putting stuff in my trunk i noticed this:


it doesnt look like much but its an antenna here is the wire leading out of it:


and it definitely isn't factory, its not for sat radio cuz thats on the roof
any one have any idea what it is? im thinking possibly lojack or something of that nature anyone familiar with it? i also went all paranoid for a lil thinking it was gov tracking or something lol

 

probably lojack or aftermarket alarm

i think its lojack, too... usually thieves wouldnt notice that, but im thinking there are better places to hide a tracking device, haha!

^Yes I have seen that on a couple cars before, just a cheap way to fix a water leak.

But I cant tell if thats a wire comming out of it or not? Check the fuse box and battery to see what is out of place.

 

I have that too. I think its the wire for the gps antenna on the roof
