60K service at Infiniti Dealer
60K service at Infiniti Dealer
Hi all,
I called Rosenthal Infiniti in Fairfax, Va about the 60K service for my 2003, G35 Coupe. They told me the price is 990. I think it way too high. Merchant do 60K service for 450, almost half the price. I haven't check the items that each shop perform. But I would think it will be a flush oils, replace filters, ...ect. What more can an Infiniti Dealer do compare to a regular shop?
How much do you pay for yours service?
Thanks,
LaRatta

60k service is the same as the 30k service.....i dunno what Merchant is, but the reason i took my car to Tysons Infiniti(about the same price as Rosenthal) is because they give you a free loaner car if you want one....and with the 30/60/90k mile service taking a majority of the day, and me not having a second car, a loaner is a must.
1) Inspect drive belts, replace if necessary.
2) Replace air filter.
3) Inspect EVAP lines, fuel lines, replace if necessary.
4) Replace engine coolant, oil, oil filter.
5) Inspect brake lines, cables, pads, and rotors.
6) Inspect manual transmission and gear oil.
7) Inspect steering gear & linkage, axle & suspension parts.
8) Inspect exhaust system.
9) Replace in-cabin microfilter.
I would say just do most of the work yourself.

The oil is easy, its just an oil change and filter change. If you need to replace the diff or tran fluid just mix it in with the oil. Then take it all to any local auto store and ask the worker where their oil collection bin is at. Dump it there. Coolant is harder since its harder to find places to take it but you can try the local waste or hazmat facility, sometimes they charge you to dump it.
