I was just mashing the pedal to the floor. Next time out I'm definitely going to experiment a little with all the good advice I've gotten.

Ill be practicing my brake torquing. Thanks for all the info guys. Ill post what happend right after its done, sometime next month when it gets a little bit cooler and less humid. Looks like my 3 friends are standing firm at $50 each. Still, $150 for hitting 14.9's in my car doesn't seem like a bad days work!
