has anyone gotten their car or heard of someone getting their g35 stolen? im really paranoid about getting mine jacked cause the sales man was insisting that they always get jacked..i mean of course he was trying to get me to buy lojack and all...but still...cant help to be paranoid...and then i hear that the place im moving too has had problems with cars getting jacked...and then im gonna be at school in sd which i hear also has this problem...

 

I don't think we've had a member get their car stolen here. We've had a couple "my friend's friend" stories but no first person stories.

so far only one person posted on this site about his car being broken into, but not actually stolen. A few others had their cars "jacked" literally, they stole the rims and tires.........


I'm sure if someone with enough experience wanted to steal any car, they could get it done................

my dealer said that it's impossible to steal the G without flatbedding it away. but if someone really wants it and really knows what they're doing (a la nicholas cage haha) then they will take your car regardless of what it is.

i just needed reassurance that if it was gonna get jack it would be hard to do

 

My previous car had a kill switch and a chipped key system to deter theft. I came home from work one day last February, and it had been flatbedded from IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE! When I asked one of my neighbors, she stated that "the mechanics all had uniforms and were polite to me when I walked my dog!"
Imagine the COJONES on these guys.....broad daylight, right in front of the house........WOW
