anyone know why stock front bumpers are different?

right now i have a 2007 g35 coupe. and i took off the front license plate to make it look clean, but there was a big hole in the middle. i looked at other g35s and found out some have things to cover up the hole and some that don't have the hole at all. need help. thanks.

since you're bound to ask, you can get them from any dealership painted the color of your bumper and you just pop it in

yeah but it's not the tow hook.
the tow hook is on the side
i'm talking about a hole right behind the license plate.
it's a big rectangle. i'd rather have it clean then filled in.
