fuel Tank issues and dealer headaches..input please
ok so i have the tank issues where it would not be filled to the full...so the dealer replace the hose filler neck and valve..(common problem)
now that was replaces, i went to fill up and it did go to the F but it took a whole day for the needdle to move up. and when i would get the 1/4 tank it would drop all the way to E then back the 1/4
so now the replaces the fuel tank sensor (i think thats what they call it) its suppose to measure the gas in the tank..
now i got a bigger problem...i can't fill up more than half a tank (11 gals)
what do you guys think the problem is?

Took my dealer five tries to get it right. They even replaced the instrument gauges thinking it was reading incorrectly...
Anyway, apparently they bent the probe one one of their earlier tries and straightened it out, worked fine afterward.
These guys don't think out-of-the-box. They go strictly by the FSM and once all possible options are exhausted, they start using their heads...

It pissed me off though because my gauge would never read the same after each try. I ran out of gas twice....
