Opinion for a Newb

Hey guys,

Long time reader, First time poster.

Thinking about pulling the trigger and purchasing a G. Im interested at looking at the following this weekend : White G35

your opinions? specific questions you would have?

If it goes down, I would see if Sharif@forged could do the inspection on it ( if he does that)

Thanks in advance guys!

That doesn't look like a good price for that many miles from a private seller.

It looks like the seller is trying to get back whatever he spent on rims and drop in the sale price, but mods always drop the value of the car, except for wheels.

He's asking too much for an '04 with that mileage. It looks clean and well-maintained though, but you can probably get a better price if you're patient.

Ya, the price maybe be high. I got my 05 with 47k miles for 16,500 and then a 5year/100k warranty included for 17,500.

That looks like a very clean IP coupe and that's not many miles for an '04. You should be able to get into it for a few $ less but make sure you get the CARFAX so you know it's history.... There's nothing wrong with buying a car that's been modified especially with quality parts from known companys!

6MT Coupe
Too bad it doesn't have charcoal interior = rare on a 2004 6mt IP coupe with Brembos. Prices vary a lot depending where you live/state/region/etc. What are other comparable G's selling for on 'Trader' in your area? Low ball an offer. Maybe meet somewhere in middle. Recession = much lower prices in general now-a-days private party if they want to sell bad enough.

Well guys, I made it official. Got a great deal on it, way below the asking price! (including the stock wheels with new tires):

The only thing I wanna warn you about, thinking about the mods makes me think the guy drove it pretty hard.
