A good custom paint job is 6k on the low, but they can be 10k or more.

he stated an entire paint job would start at 6k. how could only a rear bumper cost 5k? maybe $500-$600.... even with a rare custom paint it shouldnt cost more than that.

Yes and no. The thing was 99% of people would have taken the first number they offered because it looks like a lot. But its not enough to do the job right. What they wanted to pay to fix is fine for most cars but not this one

Plus the insurance company is a joke. What if she hit a lambo or something with crazy expensive paint? "Sorry we wont pay for PPG paint"
