Got hit, insurance wont pay.....lol
So I came out to my car and found this (wtf) But the person left a note giving there info and saying sorry. So I was not happy, but oh well things happen. I work in a body shop and see it ten times a day, not a big deal.
But then I call her insurance company and they say "we will be right out to take a look at it for you" Then the show up (Nationwide insurance) and say " sir we are sorry but we dont pay for custom paint or body work" so I say "get out of the shop if you dont know what your doing! My car had custom paint and body work before the crash and it will have it after. By law my car needs to be returned back to pre-accident condition" So they say "sorry we dont know anything about that"
So I let a week go by and then call the better business bureau and a lawyer. Then I call the home office of Nationwide in VA and tell them that "I called the better business bureau and got a lawyer because they dont want to fix my car the right and legal way"
So two hours later a New england manager for Nationwide shows up at my work with a blank check and said "how much do you want"
Im writing this so people dont let insurance companys push them over. There is a right way to do things and wrong way to do things.
