Vortech install complete.. *pics*

I finished my Vortech install, it went well and I am very happy with it! I am wating on my test pipes and headers so I can install my wideband A/F sensor. After I install them I will ship out my ECU for to have the rev limiter adjusted since my car is a 5AT.

Awesome. I'm probably saying this out of jealously .. But can't anyone agree with me that the engine bay looks really messy now?

Yeah, I agree. I wonder, will the stock engine cover still fit. That might make it look a little neater.

I posted it here because there is next to nothing in that section. To gain interest in the kit I opted to put it here. The mods do a great job, I am sure they will move it if need be.

Re: Vortech install complete.. *pics*

I want to get the headers, cats and ECU flashed before I hit the dyno. I hoping for 400rwhp... If I get close to that Ill be happy. These motors really cant go to much higher than 400rwhp without upgrading the rods and pistons.

Thanks... it was well worth the bloody knuckles and long nights.
The power after 5000 rpm is intense... I just ordered a 9lb pulley so the boost will come on faster.

Re: Vortech install complete.. *pics*

Out of the box most Vortechs are putting down 359 to 387. I figure with the test pipes, plenum, y pipe, custom SS fuel map, and ECU reflash I should be right at 400. If I cant hit that with the 8psi pulley I think with the 9 I can.
