Hmm I don't recall having those in my Stillen Z-tube. Do they look like mold defects or do they look like they were purposely put there?

either way the effect to the airflow and "power" of the car is extremely small

The stillen tube is an injection molded plastic piece of crap. If I would have known I would definatly have spent the extra $10 or $15 to get the oem z tube

why does it being injected molded make it crappy and worse than the oem z-tube?

Yeah it's a bit bumpy inside, but it's very "smooth" feeling. I'm pretty sure it doesn't make a huge amount of difference. Especially compared to the resonated stock tube with 2 huge holes in it. And I definitely agree with what Xet said a few posts up

not smooth on the inside, outside displays obvious seams from the mold and there was a lot of excess flash that needed to be trimmed from the hose bung on the underside.

Not saying it doesn't work but the finishing was non-existant and does nothing for the presentation. I ended up triming the flash, sanding down the outside to get rid of the seams and painting it with that rustoleum hammered metal finish paint. Lot of extra work when I could have got the oem tube and it would work and look fine out of the box
