Window Grease

I've got this 04 AT that has this interesting problem. Whenever I lower the windows and bring them back up, I get this grease streak on them on the inside. Exact same location on both windows.

Any ideas what or where this grease is coming from or how to get rid of it?

Thanks y'all?

There is a felt guide strip along the inside of the door that the window slides up and down against. Sometimes the dealers grease the top edge of the window a bit to make it seal tighter against the upper rubber seal/weather stripping near the roof. If that grease gets on the window and you roll it all the way down, the grease gets deposited on that felt strip inside the door and then will get all over the whole window anytime you open and close it.

Take the door cover off, and clean the felt strip to get the grease out of it and it should at least reduce the streak problem. This is also a good thing to do about once a year because dirt gets stuck in that felt thing and can scratch up your windows as you open and close them.
