I was toying with a new one today. We never raced but I could tell it was very fast. It wasnt a STI so I wasnt expecting it to be quick.

if were talking stock vs stock both manual tranny...
wrx vs g35 are pretty much neck and neck from 0-60
but our cars start to take off in higher speeds because they are awd and we are rwd
i know this because my best friend has a 08' wrx lol

 

I think you will get your *** handed to you. A new WRX does 0-60 in 4.7 they are faster to 60 than the STI as they only have to shift once.
Freind at work has one and he walks away from me easily.
A magazine (C&D) just did a test on one with simple bolt ons, intake, exhaust, Cobb reflash and it pulled a 4.4 0-60.

Car and driver tested a '07 G35 6MT (306hp) and it did 0-60 in 5.2, quarter mile in 13.9 @ 102

Regardless of who is the better driver, the WRX would probably still win. They have an awesome power to weight ratio and it shows. If I wasn't driving a G, I'd be driving a WRX for sure.
