When I am drving on a particularly rough road, I hear a rattling coming from the rear. It kind of sounds like a screw has come loose and is rolling around. I totally took apart my trunk's interior and could not find anything. Does anyone know what this might be? It is coming from the inside of the car - kind of where the rear windshield meets the flat panel where the speakers are. Please help, its driving me insane!

Rear axle bolts...retorque necessary

 

Does it sound like rocking squeak? if you so, you might need a new wheel bearing. The factory spec is too tight causing the bearing to wear out prematurely.

There is TSB on the rattle by the rear deck. From what peeps have said here, it's a bogus fix. You can do it yourself. Do a search on here and you'll find plenty of info.

Thanks for the advice. Its not really a big deal but when you pay what we have for this car you want it to be perfect.
