Another VDC Question

Does the VDC adversely affect fuel economy?

It seems that my registered mpg increases when VDC is turned off!

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this.

Re: Another VDC Question

hmm thats interesting. ill have to pay attention to that since i drive with it off all the time, when i get back to my car. my problem is that i usually have too much fun in my car so i rarely get more that 250 in the city.

Re: Another VDC Question

If anything I would think VDC improves milage because it doesn't let you spin the tires, which is a waste of gas. The VDC system works by analyzing sensor data in each tire. It's a fully electronic system, all the way to the fuel cut off. I don't see any way at all that it could help...
