Curious to know what's different about the 35th Anniversary Z?

The 35th Anniversary Z will be Yellow, there will be a Limited amount of 35AE Zs made, they will come with 19" rims... And also with more HP. But all of the 05 Zs with come with an upgrade of more Hp and 19" rims.

So the only thing unique about it will be it's yellow then?

I was dissapointed in their 2001 maxima (20th ae), it had an extra 5 hp (oh wow) and they used chrome in a few more places (the rims were also chrome polished, but for whatever reason I read a report that nissan denied doing this).

Do you remember the 300zx anniversary Edition it's going to be the same as that. but i do remember that the Guy said it will have more HP than the others. it will also have extra logons and the two tone leather seats that will also have special logons.
i think 35 years is Great for a true cheap sports car.

So the 05's will have more HP, and then the AE will have even more on top of that... Sounds like I'll have to take a test drive =)

 

That's True not only will the G35 have more HP but Also the Z.And if it's true what other people are talking about but if you go with the nismo Aftermarket parts it will add more power im not 100% sure about that, but that's what i was told.

I must have missed what happened to your G? Coincidentally, I bought my 03 coupe from Carmax here in Atlanta, 3 months later the transmission had to be replaced along with some other issues I had..AND I suspect that my driver side door has been painted as well. Just looking at it you cannot tell the difference in color, but if you run your hand across the top of my driver's side door it feels completely different than the rest of my car..it feels more rough than anything else...but since I cant tell the difference visually I dont worry about it. Which carmax did you go to? btw I always go directly to the dealer, although I have a "bumper to bumper" warranty to 73k miles.

This is why i steer clear of used cars..........shift for the money u spent on ur G....you could have had a new one for a couple of grand more......it makes no sense dropping 32 grand on a used car even with 3000 miles....cuz 99% of the time all used cars have their miles clocked..... i dont care where you buy your car....even the most reputable dealerships in your area practice this....trust me..........so for me its nothing but new cars...i wanna rip the plastics of the seats

The reason why i bought the car was because it was an 04 and with 3,000 miles. the car has the right amount of miles because i went to the Infinity dealership where the 1st owner bought it from and just before trade in it had 2 875 miles on it.
i would like to buy another G35. i want a True sports coupe that has 2 seats why do i a need big car i have know Kids.
i bought the car from Town Center carmax

I can tell you from first hand experience that Carmax after inspecting your vehicle simply decreases the Blue book by about 1500-2000 depending on IF and how visible body damage is. Of course it all does depend on the mechanic checking out the car. Unfortunately, the car selling/buying game is all about money, and people wont always reveal problems with the car, otherwise the car would never sell. I know a person who sold a car to Carmax with a badly abused tranny, bad compressor for the AC, fuel pump which needed replacing as you could not tell how much gas the car had, which had failed inspection, but they had 'passed' if you know what I mean. Totals for fixing the car ran about $5000 for new tranny, AC compressor and fuel pump...parts/labor. They got about $3000 for a car, worth no more than $1000 if that. Before I bought my G, I saw used G's with around 10-15k miles for only 2-3 thousand less than a new one. Why would I pay 31,000 for a 03' w/ 12k miles when a brand new 04 is 34-35,000?? Sorry to hear about your experience with your G, but I think its just a case of luck or lack thereof in your case...

Carmax at Town Center, ugh..not to change the subject but I was considering selling my G and getting an Evo from there and they would not let me test drive it without a credit check although my car is paid for.. I could care less to deal with them period. Anyway, you should come to the meet we're having on the 28th, last month the parking lot we met at was almost completely full with G and Z owners.
