question about tire size for my 19'' wheel

i have a 04' coupe and i just bought a set of 19''. they are 19/9.5 +25 and 19/10.5 +22. I wonder what would be the perfect size of tire for them?

Different widths...I've had both setups on 9.5/10.5 wheels and frankly they felt the same to me. Although I like the fatter tire look, but on the other hand narrower tires are cheaper. So it all depends on what's important to you.

Here's a nice tool:
http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

If the new tires' overall diameter isn't greater than +/- 5% of OEM size, you'll ensure the traction control won't get wacky.

With your rim size you can run 245/35F and 275/35R that's what I've been using for several years without any issues. You could go one size larger like 255F & 285R with your rim size but they'll look the same and cost more $.... Now concern yourself with buying quality tires!

Hey do any of you have 19's and wish you went with 18's? or vice versa. I can't decide. I dont know the width and offsets I should go with either. I notice a lot of you go staggered where the fronts and backs are different but do you think I could go with all 4 the same size so that I can rotate wheels? I don't plan to do much with the G just rims and a front lip. I like how the rims with lips look. I like the big rim look but don't want too much sensitivity to bumps and potholes. I know it's a pretty blunt question but I'm not good with wheels.

How bout bought 18" Volks and wished I had 19" and after a considerable cost I made the switch. There's no problem using the same offset front and rear. I did that on my last Z for several years and ran 245s front and rear.

no regrets going with 19's, I felt like the ride actually improved. It certainly gave me the needed height boost I required. My tires were too short when I was 18's...my only regret is that not many tire manufactures make a 295/35/19, so I just went with an affordable but good pairing of 255/35 and 295/30.

^I have these sizes....it feels pretty good with the VDC for some reason and the slip light doesn't kick in as often. As far as looks and the only thing that bothers me about it is that the 245/35 seems too unproportional to the fat 285/35in the back.

hey I'm planning on ordering a wheel and tire package R1 racing drift 19x8.5 front and 19x 9.5 rear. Im going to order faulken fk 452 with them and need a second opinion with tire size that i should get with my wheel widths . there options are 245/35/19 front with 245/40/19 rear, 245/35 front and 275/35 rear, or 225/40 front 245/40 rear, 225/40 front with 275/35 rear. I tried doin my research and saw that a lot of you get wider rims so I don't know how to compare. Am I going to narrow with the wheels? It's their only staggered option.
