NEED HELP, suspension

ok well for the past couple of months i have been hearing a clunk noise(s) when making a deep turn parking at less than 3 miles an hour. its not everyday so i can't reproduce the noise, or when i leave and enter my driveway with a 1-2inch bump....only on driver side!

but i have another problem that i think is related...when i am doing about 50-70 on the street and i hit a simple man hole cover (with the 1 inch bumb)i hear a loud bang, almost as if the shocks bottom out...it happened 3 times in 2 months at different locations and only with the driver side again. i drove over the same manhole 3 times and no bottoming out...

any one has any clue what it can be?...

And the dealer can't fix anything that is broken.

May I suggest you find an reliable independent brake/alignment shop in your area and have them check your issues out. The noises you describe aren't close to being normal....shocks are a possibility if your G is high mileage. Having it on a rack will answer most of your questions! G/L

Compression rods? they are usually known for going bad for the G's. Like what gary_c said, take it to a shop and check things out.

My car had a similar problem, but it turned out to be that the threads on the sway bar endlink had smoothed out and every time I would go over a semi-harsh bump, the endlink would shift between the mounting point and the nut and create a rather large bang.

Either way, get someone to lift the car up and carefully inspect your suspension components.

i don't get the bang all the time but it only happens at high speeds ..and the clunk i hear happens at parking speed and turning deep

Is this something you can inspect with just jacking up one corner? I had my compression rods replaced a few months ago and I've got some more front suspension sounds that are coming back now.
