Oil Consumption Build Dates (6MT)

Those of you who have OC problems, can you please post the build date of your car?

Apparently, a bad batch of engines were build between February and March of 2006.

Let`s see if there`s a correlation.

I had OC problems. Had the engine replaced about 3 months ago. Where would I find the build date?

Mine was built 06/06 but I do NOT have a OC problem. But then I only have 20k miles on my car. Knock on wood.

I think it spans even more than 06. I saw an 07 on Ebay that was a Lemon title. It`s declared as vehicle bought back by Infiniti and engine replaced due to high oil consumption.

I saw the bad batch theory on a 350Z forum.

Any issues with the 03's? Mine was 03/03 and only has 11k, but no OC issues. Any one have an 03 that has OC issues?
