Problem with my new lug nuts. HELP!!

Okay guys,

Here's the problem, I recently put on my new lug nuts yesterday, Muteki SR48s on Tenzo R Type M. Today I was driving down my block slowly with the windows and the rear would creek/squeek, kinda like a rubbing noise. I go out to check my rear right wheel and the lug nuts were loose. So I tighten them again, had my girlfriend slowly roll down the street and they become loose again..

Now I can't figure out the reason why it does this.. So any comments guys? I appreciate it.

also had that happen to me after installed extended lugs. Forgot to properly lock em in so a few had ridges srtip and gotten loose so vibration basically loosened the rest and lugs would come undone.. was a hassle.

im sure i got the 1.25, i checked it, and im sure because i ordered it from evasive and they sent me the first pack with one lug nut that was 1.5 i was pretty pissed. But im sure its 1.25, i checked each one before i put em on. So far the noise went away but i fear for it.. thanks guys ill let you know if anything else happens.

those lugs come in 1.5 and 1.25. u wouldnt be able to screw it in smoothly if u got 1.5.

sounds more a stud is loose or u have spacers and its vibrating. i would regun those studs. that is a very common issue with 5-10mm spacers

Yeah, my first set from evasive had one lug that was 1.5 and it didn't go in, I sent the whole thing back for a new one. I don't have any wheel spacers, and how do you regun your studs? my brother actually had the same problem with his TL, and he had to replace his entire studs, he was using project kics r40.. I'm wondering if I do as well..

I blame the studs, if they had been 1.5s they would not have gone on with out some serious forcing.

Find a custom shop or ask some local mechanics who can do the studs for you, they'll point you in the right direction. Where are you located? google might help.

Do a search on google for "Fresno axle/stud repair" or something like that, those guys will be able to pull it off.

if u are up for a drive i can do it for u for free. didnt u want a bumper anyways lol.
what u might wanan try to is re mounting your wheels vibrations might be causing ur lugs to come off.
