Tire Opinions Wanted
To answer your question OP, Nitto 555 are not that hreat a tire compared to the Falken's, mine even happen to lose air on a regular basis ( 1 to 2 lbs. per week). Falken 452's seem to be the best bang for the buck in their price range. I'm scheuled to PS2's next when I need them but, if I hear more good things about the Hankook's I might change my mind. GL with whatever decision you make.
Thanx for the your input 2k6 (and for bringing this thread back to the O.Q.). So far I'm leaning towards the Hankook V12 because of how they've done in the Car & Driver tire test and a Euro magazine test. Trying to stay at 850 installed. There's been some good recommendations on this thread, but I can't really afford to spend 1200+ on tires.
I just bought a set of Hankook's about 2k miles ago. I love them so far. My camber is off a bit so I am sure I will notice ware before most people but I will keep you guys updated at 5k. They were only 825 installed for all four.
last much longer then Toyo T1R. and sidewall is as thick as a mother fvcker.

Standardized or not, my point was not to buy a set of tires that wouldn't last few years. When those Bridgestones rated at 140 only lasted a year I was pissed at myself for not being aware and TireRack for not mentioning it when I ordered them. I've been with Michelin's ever since on my previous Z and my G35.....I do have GoodYear's on our Corvette!
