Done deal ; leaving the G community

I bought my 07 G last Nov for $24750 and got $23000 from Carmax...the initial offer was $19000 with my mods so this morning I spent 5 hours taking all the mods of and that increased the value from 19K to 23K...wow!

Got a Sterling grey 2010 Mustang GT, 5AT, Shaker 1000, HID's, comfort pack, security package, 19's, GT appearabce pack number 5, rapid pack 401, MSRP was $38k, got them down to $34k and then $2250 in rebates and 0% for 36 months.

I will miss the G but wanted the rumble/tq of the V8 and the new mustang has really come a long way.

I will have lots of parts for sale if you are interested.

Why is that^^

He got a car that is three years newer that some would much rather prefer over the G.

Your father does not set the standard of what downgrading and upgrading is.

Opinions! Suck.

The new mustang is sick, I hated the 2005 body style when it came out, looked like a dumb revamped 60s mustang but the new mustang is much smoother and looks very aggressive! I always loved the 99-2005 models though, I had a v6 one and it was bunk... but the GTs are a whole different story.

Why 5at?

Make sure you mod it nicely and post pics back here!

I am in the Navy and traffic going into/out of the Norfolk Naval Base is horrible and being 40 dealing with a clutch...well...no thanks.

I plan on a JLT intake/tune and a Borla cat back.

I went from 2004 G35 to 2008 Audi A4 2.0T did I down grade as well? I enjoy every car I have ever owned and don't consider up or down grading in my next purchase just "something different".

My father just bought 2009 Challenger R/T and the V8 rocks!

Drowe - that is not what his Mustang looks like so don't try and dress it up otherwise I'll post a picture of a true Skyline and say this is my G.

This is what his 'stang looks like with the shaker hood, etc.....

Nice car - not trying to knock your thread down but putting something else in place of what they actually look like is not the right thing to do. Enjoy the rumble of the V8.
