Trading the G for a Corvette. Opinions?

As for the Corvette though, I'd keep the G. I don't think that switching to the corvette would be a good idea since it is automatic and the mileage is quite high.

Lots of BSR issues with the Vette - tons of plastic squeaking makes it extremely irritable to be in. Power is great, but as Vette's are for those with mullets that love NASCAR.
My wife's friends husband owns an '05 and even though he's put an aftermarket exhaust/chip into it (400 + hp), it goes like stink but also drives like ****. I couldn't handle the cheap interior nor all of the squeaks. My 05 G with 20's drives like a Cadillac compared to his Vette.

That would be almost like saying a 300ZX is a sports car, but the 300ZX 2+2 is not because it has 2 more seats and weighs 250 pounds more than the regular 300Z.
The biggest difference IMO between a 350Z and a G35 Coupe is that you can get a 350Z a whole lot cheaper than a G35, so you get more people buying them for the sheer performance aspect for the money.
