Well it is possible...... But how ?

To install the springs on the bottom rubber mount, the top part of the spring won't fit in it.

That's what I am saying lol you'd have to force it.

Why what's wrong, does the car feel weird after installing the springs?

My friend in a SI installed it upside down on the passenger front side. He didn't do it on purpose, but felt an ugly feeling from the passenger side and took out the spring to find out that it was installed upside down.
So it is possible and you would feel a huge difference in ride quality.

A civic you mean? Well, civics are civics, Gs are Gs.

Did the spring sit in mount plate? or did you have to hold there and put the suspension back together?

the brand name of the springs should be facing up, not upside down
