I'm going to buy a G in Northern CA. before the end of the year. With the price increase for the 2005's do you think it's worth waiting for or should I go for the big discounts they are offerring on the 2004's now?

 

Get the best deal and buy a G 6MT..whatever year...it is bad ***!

I'm usually one for the latest and greatest but I got an 04 instead. The money savings was a factor plus the 05 changes are pretty minor. In the end I couldn't wait 2 or 3 months!

You should wait for the 05. Never pay msrp. I would say between $2000-$1500 off is a buy. If you wait and go to different dealers , someone will cave.

 

The changes are minimal, this thread comes up all the time. We can all agree that there is no significant difference. So why torture yourself, a new G is a new G. I would only wait if you think your can get a good deal on a 04 while 05 are also in stock.

 

I'm in the same predicament and I finally decided to go for the 2004 and not the 2005, I'm getting about $1300 off sticker in So. Cal, I wish I could get more but this is the very best I've found. Dealers still aren't budging, not even the internet dept.

What are the interior changes? The rims on the '04's that I've seen look fine to me. The whole care looks FINE to me! Local dealers have a couple of 04's in graphiite (the color I want) with Premium, Perf.Tire/wheel pkg, and I don't think I would use Navi anyway. They are offering 1500-2000 off.

 

Just remember if you are into color and interior choices that Infiniti has made some weird decisions! No Graphite in the Silver and No Graphite in the Ivory.. If this doesn't matter to you.. than other then minor changes go for whatever is the best deal for you.. I was ready to trade in my 04 Ivory Coupe with Graphite just to get the Nav.... When I found out that I could only get the grey or beige I decided to stick with my car without the Nav.. just my choice.. Bascially it's the same exact car....go for the best deal that can save you some dollars.
