i have 03 g35 coupe 5at and recently i'm having the wierdest times with my car. while i'm driving engine shutts off, then my "vdc off" and "slip" lights are coming on. i start my engine right back and those warnings still stays. is there anybody who had the same situation or any recommendations? thanks

 

hey i am having the same problem right now!!! your check engine light comes on too?? i tried putting in injection cleaner for the injectors nothing, it did it once and stopped and today it did it 4 fu**in times!!! i am going to run a scan to see if i can get anything .. if u get this fixed please let me kno!!

 

first of all, sorry for replying late. yes, my check engine light comes, on too. i have no idea why engine shutts off all of a sudden and all those three lights are on(check engine, vdc off and slip warnings). i was also told that i should clean the plugs that are connected to the air system of the car. to be honest, i didn't have time to take care of it, but it seems like a seriuos issue and it's driving me crazy. everday it stops at least one time. so, if you have fixed already or any clues please let me know. thank you

 

alright well i got the g scanned and the computer read that it wuz the throttle body.. i orderd the peice and it already came in i will install it tmrow and will see wut happens ... hopefully this is the problem

 

Sorry I missed this thread... yes, it is your throttle body. Make sure you disconnect your battery cables before replacing the throttle body and DO NOT move the throttle plate.

 

jesus u just saved me .... how come u have to disconnect battery???? lol i deffintely wldnt of done that!!

aright buddy i installed my new throttle body yesterday and the car feels like its running better!!! it cld just be in my head but i drove it all day today and no problems!!
