Llumar Air Blue 80 Tint

Anyone have this tint throughout on a white car? I've only seen a black sedan on the forums that has done this. If it looks really blue like the Mercedes I'll like it more

On an IP I think it'd look okay, but then you'd need some APR mirror lenses like me (get them through Henry at Statik!)

Personally I still think some regular tint would look better but to each their own!

BlackoutG, this is EXACTLY the look I'm trying to go for. Looks like the Mercedes tinted glass. Is that Airblue you have on there? It looks like your in the LA area too...can you recommend a place w/ good price?

I like the look of black tint as well...but I've had 20% on all the cars I've owned. I really hate look of cars with different percents in the back windows and front windows. I'm going to put the 80% on ALL windows: back, rear quarters, side, and windshield. Only Llumar and 3M make tint that is clear enough for me to get away with plastering all over the windshield...if this Air Blue didn't have a little color to it you wouldn't even be able to tell it was tinted. It's not cheap either...I got quoted over $500 for the complete job. Blue is a love it or hate it thing...and I personally like it.

I personally like the blue reflection on mercedes windows but not a fan of blue tint. What mercedes has is a UV shield that is blended into the glass. Personally I like our cars more with black tint or no tint. Please no blue tint on g35s.

I personally do not like completely "blue" tint either. However this Air Blue stuff is nearly clear. It's meant to be put on the windshield...so it will be very clear looking. You can only see the blue reflection at exactly the right angles with just enough light shining through. Most people that look at the car probably wouldn't even know it had tint. I had this charcoal reflective tint on my last car that ended up having a green reflection, I didn't like it....at least with this Air Blue I know it's going to be blue.

I have it on my front windshield and window. You can barely tell it's there. The only reason i got it is to block out the heat. It makes the window slightly bluer. Mine is not nearly as blue as C's car.

Here is a pic.

Lik'en the blue....! =)

I really like the air blue tint. Not sure I'd tint the windshield since you live in a state that frowns upon tint in general. You could always throw some Benz emblems on and hope the CHP doesn't notice....

You can't even tell it's on there on gabe3d's car (blue on blue does blend more though). BlackoutG's car is an extreme example...I'm starting to think he doesn't even have the AirBlue. It might be the blue Madico tint...correct me if I'm wrong C.
