Ahhh window problem?

Ok so today at night I come home. I had my windows rolled down. So I press the button to roll up both of my windows to find out that the passanger window would not roll up. So I was sitting in the car for like 5-10 mins clicking the buttons trying to get it up cause I live in apts and no way I can leave an opened window. You could here it click but not go up. So then I got out of the car and put the key in the lock and turn it to lock and hold it and the window finally rolled up. So now it works with the buttons from the inside. But the thing is ever since this incident the passenger window started to roll up slower + sometimes when I roll it up it will go up and then return to half way and I have to do it again to close it. Could it be my motor is dieng or do I need to reset it somehow? Sorry no warranty on my car so it's all up to me to fix it.

ok,
first thing first - your sensors from your 18 to your 19 will work fine - no programming needed
second - your windows sound complicated but if it works, it needs resetting
third - i don't think your life should be this complicated - switch to a honda civic

Yea you can roll up the windows by turning the key to lock position on the door and holding it for few seconds.

You should switch to a corolla so you don't have to make lame stories about your mental gf.

try resetting your window motors. If this doesn't work then you will need to replace the motors or take them out and clean them. There are DIY's on both of these methods. Check out the DIY section.

Why is every post of yours I see a complete waste of everyone's time? Stop posting stupid ****, switch to a different forum so we don't have to read your crap anymore.

Anyways,

I'm having the same issue, parked in the casino lot earlier today and it wouldn't roll up. Turned the car off and opened the door, tried again, it worked. Seems like the window thinks it's already up or something, i'll swing by the dealer as I'm still under warranty and let you know how that goes.

My drivers side window does this since I bought it. I can hit the auto down and it goes down fine. But when I auto up the window, it always comes half way down again. I have to manual up the drivers window for it to actually go up all the way, even though the passenger side is fine. I'm going to do a DIY motor reset and let you know how it goes. It's really annoying.

Resetting the motor is pretty useless. What I did was take out the whole motor and clean it inside then it started working again.
