Spacers Help

For those who didn't see my earlier post, I got my 19" rays (painted black spokes) stolen in the mall parking lot last night sometime between 12 and 3 am.

I'm considering getting the 19" M45 5-spoke (split spoke) rims that I've seen on IPs before, they look real nice.

I'm wondering... how necessary are spacers? I've read 25 all around looks OK but most wish they went with 30 in the rear. I'm just not sure if this is a 100% necessary buy. Will the wheels fit my car fine without the spacer - i.e. is this purely aesthetic? If it is an aesthetic matter, I'm sure the spacers are worth the buy; I'm just wondering if my car will function fine without them - at least temporarily.

Thanks!

P.S. If anyone can recommend any good, yet relatively cheap spacers where I can buy 2x25mm and 2x30mm (as opposed to a kit of 4 of either) that would be great.

if what i read on google is right. the wheel specs for the m45 are 19 x 8 + 35

those wheels should fit fine, as long as you don't have brembos

but they're going to be more sunken and wouldn't look as great as with spacers.

i have 25mm all around on my coupe with the oem 18's and the rear needs another 5mm or so.

send a private message to JOKER (a user on this site) and ask him about the spacers. he has those wheels on his coupe and they look fantastic. he probably has one of the best looking cars on this site, IMO

Anyone know where I can get 2 different sized spacers? All I've seen are kits selling 4 of the same size..

I've already looked at that, it's relatively expensive and I didn't even see there an option to get 2 of each different size, but thanks.

i dont think they make them in 30mm ??
if you have the time i think just get the wheels and install them with out spacers and start looking of a used set here ...

The wheels will be here tomorrow or Tuesday and I haven't even ordered spacers, so I'll definitely be installing the wheels before I get the sapcers. If they look alright, I might not even get them. However, if I feel they're necessary, looking for used ones might be the best way to go.

The website you gave me in your original post actually sold 30 mm, so I know they're made, and my optimal choice would be 25 in the front and 30 in the back, however 5 mm is a very small and probably even less noticeable difference. We'll see.
