No smog checks but I pay about the same in GA. My shyt got messed up in the system and I drove a year on an expired registration. They never sent out my notice and I didn't notice until I was cleaning my exhaust tips. Had to pay double to renew......

Remember how we got rid of Gray Davis because he wanted to raise the registration fee to help out with the CA deficit?

Then Arnold came along and said he wouldn't... Seems like he just prolonged it and F'd us up even more. The economy is worse and we're in bigger debt...

Republicans = Big Spender + Cut Taxes on Business. Then tax the people to make up for it.

Upset....could have been worse!

I haven't received mine yet, but I expect it to be double what it was last year. This is the price we pay for letting illegals in our state drag down the ecomomy. Be glad the state rejected the 10 cents per gallon gas tax increase!

You guys pay WHAT?

I'm sorry, my brain's just having a hard time comprehending that. We ARE talking about your license plate, the little sticker that goes on it, along with that little rectangle of paper, yes?

I pay $36 in PA. I paid an extra $20 to get my personalized plate, but that's a one-time fee. I think I'd **** myself if I got a letter from the DMV saying that my registration fee is $300!

Or are you guys talking about inspection/emissions? Cause that would make more sense. I dunno much about all the nonsense that Cali' requires.
