Is it possible to "recirculate" cabin air w/o turning the A/C on?
Nothing works. I have an '07 coupe, and i'm not sure if the logic circuits are still the same on the older models.
Sometimes i want to turn off the AC for a little bit while keeping the cooled air still circulating inside. This won't cause fogging instantly. Just hard to believe this can't be done on an upscale car like ours.

Sometimes I don't want the AC on. I just want air to move. And the windows will only fog up when it's extremely COLD. Why would I want the AC on when it's COLD?
Makes no sense.
Just on several occasions, there air quality would suck and I just want air blowing. So I close the window and turn on the air but its taking in all the bad air from the outside so the cabin end up smelling like the outside.
Point is, there should be an option to do this.. No excuses about windows fogging, etc etc.. It should be our choice. Especially for something as simple as recirculating cabin air.
It's not like we're asking Infinti to make a dipstick that isn't as retarded as the current one we have. That would be too complicated for them.

It's air conditioning, not air cooling, you can run A/C all year round with the heat, doesn't make a difference. It simply removes the moisture from the air so that your windows don't fog up.
I run A/C year round because I live in a humid climate.
You do realize that A/C isn't just for cooling air, right?

Again, other cars have this "option". Like I said, sometimes, I just want the air to recirculate w/o having the AC running. And so do many other people.
I'm not complaining about FOGGING windows. I don't have a problem with fogging windows.
Why do you keep bringing that up? LOL
The problem is, I can't recirculate the cabin air w/o the AC running.

Tried it last night and you sir are correct.
this is really annoying. I have hit the recirc button many times and tried turning the AC off but it doesnt work. I thought maybe it would work with the aftermarket dash kit HVAC but still nothing
Guess what, I found out how to do it. You have to press and HOLD a certain button. So those that said Infiniti did it on purpose because of "fog" issues, can eat it.
