Have an '06 auto, athens blue, stock. I want to do a cold air intake, front and rear sway bars, true duel exhaust, flat black wheels, reflash and maybe lower it. Any suggestions on which brands to buy and a good place to do the work. I live in westchester county, N.Y. I'm not looking for massive gains but just want it to shift quicker when I'm in the tiptronic mode. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

Welcome to Driver Charlie, Intake: Stillen CAI/Z-Tube contains a giant K&N filter and is unaffected by heat or moisture. Swaybars: again Stillen makes sways for our cars that are adjustable and MotorDyne just came out with their own sways. We all know Tony makes good products for our G35's! True dual exhaust: there are so many systems available but after having 5 different on my coupe my choice is HKS or Stillen. Both systems sound great and the quality is primo. Grounding kits will make your 5AT shift smoother and using synthetic trans fluid will also improve performance. A good place to buy the mods mentioned above is either on our MARKETPLACE or directly from Stillen 800-889-9043 or MotorDyne 661-993-5111. Grounding Kit is available from Sean give him a PM (he also makes other great stuff for the G)....

First of all let me say that I am not affiliated with SprintBooster in any way. I attempted to recommend it in a thread that I started myself and got slammed because of my low number of posts. I'm not a ringer!!! I bought my coupe new in December of 2002 so I have spent a little time with it. I purchased a SprintBooster after reading every post on every forum I could find. MB, BMW, Evo and of course 350Z and here. I've had it installed for about eight months now. If you want to eliminate throttle lag in the 5AT SprintBooster works. In manumatic you can do a 1-2 shift at 6000 with very little rpm drop. The only problem is that once in 2nd your very close to the redline and must hit 3rd quickly. Hopefully some other SprintBooster users will chime in here to verify my findings.

I'm not against the SprintBooster, but honestly, grounding kit gives you almost the same results for half the price. The extra $150 for the SB or a tid bit better shifting IMO isn't worth it for me. I can deal with a .5 second lag in shifting in manumatic. But if you wanna go with the SprintBooster, it will completely eliminate the lag, as far as I've ever read before purhcasing the grounding kit from Sean. It's just a matter of price.
