Low Idle as a result of CAI?
Hey guys, in November I installed a Fujita SRI on my car, but now that winter has hit, the car seem seems to be idling really low. When at a light the car only idles at around 400 rpms. Theres a slight stutter when the revs drop down and the heater blows colder air at the revs, but as soon as you give it a little gas to bring the rpms up to around 1000, the air is much warmer. Could the low idle be a result of the SRI? Is there anything I can do so that the car idles higher?

I don't think I did, but can't recall for sure. I'm having the same issues as everyone else in that my car is blowing cold air at lights. As soon as you start driving, the car blows hot air, but it never amounts to heat inside the cabin. Even after 35 minutes of driving, the car still feels cold. In my old S60, I'd actually have to turn the heat down on cold days, but in the G35 I'm always left looking for more. The car has been overheating periodically, so in response to that I replaced the thermostat and took the car to Mr. Lube to do a full coolant flush. They were able to get a fair amount of air out, but the car is still blowing cold air at lights, so I'm planning on taking it back. Is there anything else that could be causing this issue? I was wondering if this could be caused by the low idle, but the car should still be producing heat regardless of where it's idling. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
