So here's the deal. I have an 05 coupe. 4 yrs. ago (or 50k miles ago) I has some Tein H-Tech springs and Tokico D-Spec shocks. All is been well, until I noticed a visual difference. The rear drivers passengers side is riding a 1/2' higher than my drivers side. The front is also a little off, less than 1/4" higher than than drivers side. All the springs "look" ok. It hasn't been in a wreck and I don't notice a loss in performance. But it bothers me that it sits ever so slightly higher than my driving side. ANY suggestions? I'm stumped. I haven't removed the rear springs, but only because they "look" ok. Hard to say. Maybe it's the front? Just thinking in reverse. Anyone had any similar problems? I have NO baseline for comparison.. who the heck knows how long I may have been driving like this.

 

Find a area like your garauge and measure the difference. I have the same springs and the difference from one side to the other can't be measured it's so minute. When springs were installed did you twist them to fit in the lower a-arms? After the springs were installed you had an alignment, they should have noticed any difference in height....

Don't the D-specs have a past of losing pressure?

 

Tried it. 3 different garages.. all relatively flat. I did have them aligned and there was no mention of it. But then again that was almost 4 yrs. ago. However, I did have it re-aligned (there was some minor pulling to my left) and NO ONE brought it up. And yeah, they're in there pretty good.

 

I haven't heard that, but would that really make a difference.. They're NOT ride height adjustable. And the springs are what lowered the car.

 

I'm not 100% sure on that I might be talking ****. But it could cause it to sag over time.

So no one has any suggestions? Maybe leave it alone unless I start to see/hear/feel problems.. I'll have to remove the springs and check them more up close.
