ok so here's the deal after talking with Strafe about what has developed. They are still seeking some customer input on the design of the bumper, so how this comes out is driven by us (but of course ultimately designed and decided upon by them).

Here's what is set in stone so far. The bumper will be heavily based on the G35 Chargespeed bumper, this allows them to use a pre-existing mold with only little changes being need. This new bumper will combine the vents of the Chargespeed 350Z into the Chargespeed G35 bumper.

The next thing to decide is where to go from there. They wants us to come up with a group decision on changing up the lower center portion to be a more traditionally straked diffuser with totally surrounded exhaust holes like in the photochops or some form of combination of that but with a central center vent like the chargespeed has now.

Here are some chops representing our options, again the final design may vary, but expect something similar to these:

Modded CS-G with diffuser center, single exhaust:

Modded CS-G with vented center, single exhaust:

G35chargerear-3qtr-vented.jpg?t=1262901067

I have request below to have the poll changed so that we can vote on this, so please check back to see what happens and place your new vote.

Just remember these are not final designs, just a direction that Strafe wants our assistance on. They will make the ultimate decisions on how certain things get translated into the real world and what gets left in cyberspace.

Also in case anyone is wondering, I am not affiliated with Strafe, nor am I receiving any kind of kick back or compensation for my efforts. I'm just trying to help a motivated company bring something new or newish to the market that interest me and hopefully some of you!

Could the old poll be edited to the following setup and then restarted obviously?

Poll question: Which version would you buy?
Option1: Center diffuser style?
Option2: Center vent style?

previous voters of the original poll cannot vote on the new poll, so please wait to see if the admins can change that, I already sent a pm about the little issue.

Ok here goes. I really want to know if you want us to make the 997 bumper. Or this design
350z chargespeed side vents meshed to g35 chargespeed rear with the center lower vent removed and a little more like how the Kenstyle center is a little more framed out by that edge that goes all around the diffuser area, just not that big. With the center removed it would be easier to mod a quad tip exhaust. I really need to know cause the order is going overseas tmrw. Thought we were Bsing? This is going to get done...

I will need at least 20 bumpers ordered...Cost will be close to most signature bumpers out there now. Please help us to help get this into being made. Turnaround time will be 8 or so weeks.

a few sentences have me confused:

"I really want to know if you want us to make the 997 bumper. Or this design?"
Are we being asked if we want this rear bumper vs the front bumper or if we if we're interested in them both?

"With the center removed it would be easier to mod a quad tip exhaust"
Do you mean it wont have anything making up the center or are you just talking about removing the vent to go with the diffuser style?

Also what kind of payment are you requiring prior to production; full, partial, none?

Sorry I should be more clear got a bit in a rush. Overseas calls cost some change.
This is only for the rear bumper.
1. We are asking if you would rather have the 997 design with vents and all. If we can do it because it would be from the ground up.

2.We would remove the center vent and add diffuser where the vent is now.

3. Keep Vent.

partial payment but you would see design before it comes back overseas to us. Fair enough?

Remember We are G owners and well this I can tell you is going on my car if we make it.

is it 8 weeks turnaround for the back bumper and the front? or is the front bumper closer to being ready for sale?

gotcha that clears things up. Well Im game for the modified Chargespeed, its a more finished design, less risk and easier for you and all involved to produce.
Pm me the details of what you are looking for in terms of partial payment or post it here so others know as well...my fiance is going to yell at me.

OK Done deal the CS Style. I'll get on the phone. Oh and yeah we will let you know $ partial..

Here it is
CS 350z sides with actual vents (be quiet Shane we hear you) Lulz
CS G35 bumper with center vent removed diffuser added
A little lip or border added just not as bold or big as kenstyle.
The area of concern was the molding around tips we decided not to mold the tips in due to various tips and don't want vibration.

Ok we good with this?
