Think I'll keep mine until it blows up. I've chopped and changed cars far too much in the past and got bored of it. For what it is, a totally stock entry level luxury car, it is pretty darn good.

The wife's got an SUV and I might get something a little later. Think I'm covered for now...for now...

Keeper.

Then again, I tend to get very attached to my cars -- I've only had three and I'm almost 28 years old.

I'd still be driving my last one if it hadn't been totaled.

My 07 coupe has been a good car and I like it. But I think I'll go another direction in a number of years.

i plan on keeping my 03 coupe. but once kids come around i might have to keep it in the garage and get a minivan. NOOOOOOOOO! i would consider getting the sedan but i have a lot of friends that always end up going with a minivan no matter how much they said they would stay away from one.

I flip-flop

Would give my left nut for a decent factory VQ build (haven't been given one yet). The G's looks alone makes me hold on to it. It's handling not bad either.

I could see myself in a 370Z Nismo in the future maybe. GTR will always be just a wet dream...

My G is stock and I have seen dynos here with guys that have plenum spacers and intakes that only do 220whp.

Besides, a BMW 328xi 2007 kills me, and its rated at 240 hp and 280 lbs of torque, on a rolling start so no miss shifts or anything. And its AWD and heavier. Really, im very disappointed in the G... I wont even tell you guys how I get destroyed by a stock 135i. Tought it would be something different.

Ohh and why I said the metal was cheap is that i had a scratch on mine and during summer, one day later rust already started eating it. Like wtf? car has never seen winter and one scratch during summer and the thing starts rusting like theres no tomorrow.

i love the G35. i literally had the cash to buy a car for 2 years, and just kept on going back and forth for the first little while over a camaro and a real skyline (r32...there legal in canada for a while now). Then i gave up that dream when i fell in love with 350Z's, then one day a friend suggested a G35, so i ended up looking around for a full year until i found the perfect one-i'm a really (i mean it) picky guy, i don't believe in settling.

So yes the car is a keeper, but obviously i'm not keeping it forever, i plan on getting a rock solid job in the future (i'm a commerce student) and plan on selling it in the next 5-6 years, maybe buy a porshe in like 10-15 years hopefully. Aston Martin is the ultimate dream-hey sky's the limit boys. The type of car the G is is a keeper. The G is the only car that is reasonably affordable and remilnds me of an astonmartin

Its a Keeper, I originally leased mine in 05 then I a bought out the lease instead of rolling it into a new 08. then I moved to the midwest from the west coast and when the snow hit
I began to look at the new g37x coupe but you can't even get it with the sport package
which is another story altogether.

I say it's a keeper, even though it needs more torque/power and better paint. The paint thing really pisses me off.

I love how it comes from the factory with the sweeta$$ orange brembo calipers if you've got the '03 or '04 6MT Coupe.

I think if I splurge on a nice new high-quality respray of the paint(front bumper particularly) with a serious clearcoat in a few years, and then slap an exhaust on for sound and possibly a minor tune... I could rock this thing out for a good amount of time.

I wish 6th gear was taller too... we'd probably gain a good 2+ MPG on the highway if it spun about 400-500 RPM's less at 75 MPH in 6th(maybe distribute the extra difference between 5th and 6th gear, because the gears are so close as is that most people skip gears on a regular basis during upshifts.... i suppose we could just deal with a .72 6th gear ratio by itself though).

I too believe its a keeper, but I don't know. I see so many young cats around here I could flip it off too and make a lil come up.

I'm still back and forth on the issue. I guess I'll wait till I get the balance to zero and see how I feel then. Few more months to dwell on it.

I am taking care of it like it's a keeper but then again I have done that to all my cars in the past. For now I don't see it leaving me.
