Is your G a keeper or Just a Phase??

My G is stock and I have seen dynos here with guys that have plenum spacers and intakes that only do 220whp.
Besides, a BMW 328xi 2007 kills me, and its rated at 240 hp and 280 lbs of torque, on a rolling start so no miss shifts or anything. And its AWD and heavier. Really, im very disappointed in the G... I wont even tell you guys how I get destroyed by a stock 135i. Tought it would be something different.
Ohh and why I said the metal was cheap is that i had a scratch on mine and during summer, one day later rust already started eating it. Like wtf? car has never seen winter and one scratch during summer and the thing starts rusting like theres no tomorrow.

Phase.
The car looks great and has decent performance, but something is just missing.
I miss my Legacy GT alot, didn't look good like the G but was much much more useful. Faster, more utility, and was fantastic in our long nasty winters.
I am interested in a G37X, but imo it doesn't look as good as the G35. Plus I don't want to pay 40K for one. If Subaru would make something that looks good, I would go back in a heartbeat. The new Toyota/Subaru coupe will definately interest me. I just put winter tires on the G, hopefully it will renew my initial love for it.

Phase.
Mine was an impulse buy. My '99 Passat started leaking some oil, so I went to Carmax to look at a WRX. Parked next to the WRX was this sexy OB, sun roof, spoiler, black interior, MT, 19" rim, everything-but-nav 2006 G35 with just under 33000 miles in it; the salesman asked me if I wanted to drive it, I did, and I guess I had my first early middle-age crisis episode, and I went and bought it.
Nice car. I l really like it. Drives great. Handles great. I had forgotten what was like to have a sports suspension. Gets a lot of looks. But, I think after 2 years or so, I will go back to German, and get an Audi. Or if in 2 years the WRX looks anything like the picture nfsp1 posted, I may go that route.

They are both 2 door coupes, RWD, seating 4. Both have a 6 cylinder. They are not that different, aside from build quality and power delivery. They cater to a very similar market.

I've had my 06 6mt for 4 years this March (the longest I've ever owned a car). I've always loved the car and I just Supercharged it this week, so I plan on keeping her for a long time. I will buy another car in a couple of years too, maybe an M3 or SL Mercedes.
